Buel Orlin (Bill) Williams

September 4, 1920 — April 14, 2013

Buel Orlin (Bill) Williams was born in Stigler, Oklahoma on September 4, 1920, and left this world for his heavenly home on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the age of 92, peacefully surrounded by his family.
Bill was a devoted husband, uncle, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather.  He and his wife of almost 72 years, Patsy, have served the Lord all their adult lives.  He was a member of the Financial Board of Grace Temple Church in Fort Worth, and North Main Church of God in Weatherford, and most recently a member of The Church in Peaster.  Bill also was an active member of the community, serving on the Weatherford Appraisal Board and the Peaster School Board.
Bill met the love of his life, Patsy, when they were just teenagers.  They married December 27, 1941, and just a few short months later, Bill joined the United States Navy where he served over two years in Samoa, with only a few letters to and from his wife during his service.  After his discharge from the Navy, Bill became a contractor, working on many homes in Fort Worth, and later in Weatherford and Parker County.  Bill was known for the quality of his work and the ethical manner in which he conducted all his business affairs.
Bill and Pat loved to go camping and enjoyed many years traveling with their long-time friends, Joyce and Bob Calvert, to favorite destinations in Colorado.  They also celebrated milestone events in their lives with cruises to Alaska and Hawaii.  Bill made friends everywhere he went and he always told how much God had blessed his life.
Bill is survived by his wife, Patsy, sons, Ronnie Williams and his wife Jaynie, Russell Williams, Rocky Williams and his wife Maurielle; his daughter, Ralonna Fitzgerald; eight grandchildren,Ronnie Williams,Jr., LeAmi Pair, Shane Williams, Mark Williams, Bailee Williams, Zachary Williams, Alana Williams and Patsy Williams;  five great grandchildren Kyle Pair, Kamren Pair, Kristopher Pair, Jeremy Williams, Rebekah Williams; and three great-great grandchildren Kyler Pair, Kaleb Pair, Kayden Pair—and one on the way.  In addition to a large extended family and many wonderful friends, Bill also leaves behind a wonderful legacy of abundant life, unconditional love, and joyous laughter.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Integra Hospice caregivers, Diane, and Michelle, and many others who so faithfully helped the family care for Bill for the last several months.
