Brian Glenn Lacy

January 7, 1976 — January 14, 2015

Brian Glenn Lacy, beloved son, brother, uncle, teacher and mentor went to his forever home to be with His Abba Father on Wednesday, January 14th, 2015.

Brian was born January 7th, 1976 in Dallas, Texas.  His father, James Wayne Lacy, preceded him in death.  Brian graduated in 1994 from Weatherford High School.  He received a B.A. in Political Science from Dallas Baptist University in 2000.  He also completed many hours toward an Mdiv at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth.
God truly blessed Brian with many unique gifts and talents and a heart for others.  His ministries included: Director of American Family Association of Tarrant County, Youth Pastor, Worship Leader and Music Teacher at various churches and locations throughout the years.
He was led to open his own business, the Guitar Studio of Arlington, in 2007-present.  God blessed the studio with amazing students who also shared Brian’s love for music and creativity.   Brian also completed/sang in several music CD albums.
Everything Brian did and accomplished flourished and he truly lived out his Christian faith every day in his work and life!  He touched so many lives while here and his legacy lives on!
Survivors-His mom Susan Lacy Rogers and step-dad Keith Rogers of Weatherford; brother and sister-in-law, James and Sarah Lacy of Cypress; sister, Jennifer Lacy Ruiz of Weatherford; sister, Julie Lacy of Weatherford; sister and brother-in-law, Lindsay and Brandon Dean of Arlington; 2 nieces and 4 nephews.

Funeral-2 pm Sunday at Greenwood Baptist Church, 1504 Greenwood Cut-off Rd., Weatherford.  Visitation: 6-8 pm Saturday at Galbreaith- Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford.
Memorials-The family requests that donations be made to #Brian’sMusicLivesOn, care of Jennifer Lacy Ruiz, 109 Grant Drive Weatherford, TX 76086 in lieu of flowers.
