Bonnie Lou Bigelow

August 18, 1941 — January 9, 2018

Bonnie Bigelow, born Bonnie Perkins, took her first breath on August 18, 1941 in Sedalia, MO. The second of five children born to the late Louis P. and Della D. Gerdts Perkins. She moved along with her family to Oakland, CA at the age of three and lived most of her life in the Bay Area of California. In 2002, she moved to Lincoln, CA where she lived for 10 years before making a final move to Weatherford, TX in November of 2011.

Bonnie worked early on in the semiconductor industry where she became the very first female supervisor in her company. She made the transition in 1977 to the career that she was created for, a real estate agent. She worked 36 years as a realtor, but it was never really work for her, she loved it. While Bonnie did love her job, there are two things that she loved more. She loved her Lord and Savior and she loved her family. She attended various churches throughout her life and most recently called North Side Baptist her church home. Bonnie was blessed with two daughters, Crystal Robison and Tracey Rowe here on Earth and several other children who have been awaiting her arrival in heaven.

On Tuesday, January 9, 2018, Bonnie, at age 76, at her home in Weatherford, TX, took her last breath on Earth and her first breath in heaven.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Louis P. Perkins; her mother, Della Gerdts Perkins; and her granddaughter, Bianca Rowe.
Survivors: Daughters, Crystal Robison and husband, Jeffrey, of Weatherford and Tracey Rowe and husband, Phillip, of Antelope, CA; grandchildren, Bryan Robison of Philadelphia, PA, Derrick Rowe of Sacramento, CA, Brittany Robison of Huntsville, and Brandon Robison of Lubbock; brothers, Robert Perkins of Stockton, CA, Phillip Perkins of Rancho Cordova, CA, Chester Perkins of Vacaville, CA, and Jeffrey Perkins of San Leandro, CA; and a host of loving family and friends.
Celebration of Life: 2 p.m. Monday at North Side Baptist Church, Weatherford, TX.
