Bobby Warren Laine

Bobby W. Laine Sr., 81, passed away Monday, December 7, 2009 at home with his family at his side.  Bobby was born December 24, 1927 in Fort Worth, Texas to Raymond W. and Minnie Lee Laine.  He served in the US Army and Navy. Mr. Laine was the retired owner of Laine’s Market in Haltom City.  He was an avid collector of items including lighters, many of which he acquired through his passion for Flea Markets and garage sales.  Bobby was also a Cowboys Fan. Survivors include his wife, Patsy; son, Bobby Laine Jr. and wife Cathy of Springtown; three grandchildren, Lexia Lemley and husband Jeff, Natalie Wakeland and husband Brandon and Jesse Laine and three great grandchildren, Cye, McKennon and Kasen. The funeral service will be at 2 PM Thursday at Friendship Baptist Church.  Burial will be in East Greenwood cemetery.  Visitation is from 6 PM to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
