Bobby June Dunlap

June 4, 1935 — November 3, 2014

Bobby Dunlap, a wonderful dad, son, husband, granddad and friend; entered his “New Life” after death on November 3, 2014; may he find peace and happiness. Bob was one of those people that you always enjoyed talking to; a great conversationalist. He made you feel special and was genuinely interested in you and your life events. A man of his word, a giver; and always ready to help a stranger in need. He was in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Biloxi, Miss. for a few months. He met Patsy, his beloved wife in Amite, Louisiana.  He was taken by her beauty and gorgeous figure; married her and took her to live in Levelland, TX.  After that the service took him away to Japan for a few years. They had two beautiful children, Rickey and Tammy. Bob worked in the oil field and he was always a hard worker and a wonderful provider. They needed nothing because he was always there. He made sure his children and grandchildren had what they needed in life. Bob was a man who exhibited the skills attributed to his lineage; he’s a cowboy descendant, a real Man’s Man; he always said, “I was born in the wrong era”. His hobby an expertise was in guns; he was a collector and had a great eye for shooting. He was always a fun and loving guy to be around. Bob was also extremely knowledgeable in history and of all wars; he had an amazing memory with names and dates. Bob will be extremely missed, especially by his daughter, Tammy. He is preceded in death by his wife Patsy and son Rickey. Survivors: Daughter Tammy and her husband Clinton Craddock of Weatherford, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
