Bobby Joe Lamkin

Bobby J. Lamkin, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born March 26, 1950, in Arlington, Texas to Macie and Raymond (Bob) Lamkin. Bobby loved to fish, being outside, and being at the lake. Over the last few years, his favorite place was on the beach listening to the waves with his family. Bobby loved his grandkids so much that 2 years ago, he moved from Brownwood (his home of 25+ years) to be near them. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jane S. Lamkin. He is survived by his son, Tommy Lamkin of Weatherford; daughter, Angela and husband Matt Wills of Millsap; daughter, Christy and husband Jeff Barnes of Frisco; stepdaughters, Kim Jones and Lisa Hamilton; grandkids Brittany, Bradley, Ryan, Kensley, Gary, Gracie, Tyler and Payton; sister, Ann Lamkin Mott and husband Dennis of Dawson.

Funeral service: 11am, Monday August 15, 2022 at Greenwood Baptist Church in Weatherford, Texas with a graveside to follow at 3pm in Dawson Cemetery, Dawson, Texas.
