Billy Ralph Francis

Billy Ralph Francis, 95, of Weatherford, passed away early on Monday morning, November 4, 2019, at his home.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Fellowship Baptist Church, 173 Green Branch Road, in Weatherford.

Billy was born July 18, 1924, in Mineral Wells, to Ralph and Mary Francis. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Billy earned his private pilot’s license at an early age. He worked as a Technical Writer for General Dynamics for several years. Billy was an excellent marksman and participated in several archery tournaments. He also enjoyed various outdoor activities. Bill followed and watched professional sports including the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. Most of all, Billy cherished time spent with his family.

Billy is survived by his daughters, Pam Hall and Mary (Glenne) Hinson; his grandchildren, Michael (Charlene) Hall, Jonathan Trenkshush (Shelly), Jennifer Landon, Parker (Susan) Francis, Courtney (Ian) Nelson, and Connor (Laurel) Francis; and by his great-grandchildren, Hunter, Justin, Zack, Benjamin, Lucy, and Lane.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his wife; his son Billy C. Francis; and by his granddaughter, Tammy Lynn Hall.
