Billie Jean Johnson

  Billie Jean Johnson, 66, of Weatherford, died Thursday, December 17, 2009, at her home following a lengthy battle with ALS.

  Billie Jean was born April 19, 1943 in Graysville, Alabama. She was a homemaker, a member of Southside Baptist Church, loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved going to garage sales and tending to her animals.

  Survivors: sons, Scott Johnson and wife, Amelia, Matt Johnson; sister, Donna Kay Bohon and husband, Mac, all of Peaster; grandchildren, Parker Johnson and wife, Misty of Graford, and Jessica Johnson and fiancé, Nathan Kirk of Peaster; and great grandchildren, Christian, Coy, and Coen.

  Graveside service 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 19, 2009, in the Dilbeck Cemetery. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

  In lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent to the ALS Society.
