Beverly Ann Brandes

Beverly Ann Brandes, 74, of Weatherford passed away Friday, March 2, 2018, at her residence. Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with Norman Talbot officiating. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home. 

Beverly, also known as Granny, was born October 6, 1943, in Anderson, Indiana to William and Eula Hendren. Granny married Donald Brandes on August 21, 1959, they were married for 50 years. She worked at Big Pantry on North Main St. for many years. 

Granny was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; brother, Bill Hendren; and her sisters, Rebecca Snelson, Velma Hart, and Leah Sallee. 

She is survived by her brothers, Buck Hendren of Greenfield, Indiana and Vernon Hendren of Gun Barrel City; and sister, Wilma Stanley of Burleson. Beverly is also survived by her seven children, Fred Brandes and wife, Nancy of Graham, Margaret Talbot and husband, Norman, and Rebecca Blevins, all of Weatherford, Buzz Brandes and wife, Reah of Graham, Don Brandes of Mineral Wells, Dorothy McKibben and husband, Delbert of Clovis, New Mexico, Sally Brandes and Kevin Pierce of Mineral Wells; 22 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, who will mourn her passing.
