Betty Joyce Harrington

Betty Joyce Harrington, age 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in Weatherford. Betty was born June 12, 1933 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Martin and Gladys Farrar Jarnagin. She was a retired hairdresser in Weatherford, a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church and an avid camper. Betty’s greatest enjoyment was the time she spent time with her family.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Harrington and her three sisters, Ethel Dunham, Alberta Dixon and Sylvia Ellis.
The family would like to thank Holland Lake Nursing Center for the loving care they extended to her over the past year. As well as the Envoy Hospice care team and a special thank you to Darlene, Karen and Sally for their continuous care over the last 13 days. The love and compassion that was showed from you all is greatly appreciated.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Harrington and wife Beth, Vivian Minnix and husband Jack and Larry Harrington and wife Janice all of Weatherford; 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 am. Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Victory Baptist Church 1311 E. Bankhead Drive, Weatherford Texas 76086.
A visitation will be held 6-8 pm Friday, August 9, 2019 also at Victory Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to James and Betty Harrington Memorial Scholarship fund for Victory Baptist Academy 1311 East Bankhead Drive, Weatherford, Texas 76086. 817-596-2711
