Betty "Bernice" Huffstuttler

  Betty “Bernice” Huffstuttler, 84, of Lipan, passed away peacefully in her sleep September 27, 2015, with her family members by her side. Bernice was born on January 26, 1931, in Lipan, and was married to her loving husband for over 50 years.

  Bernice retired from the telephone company South Western Bell “Maw Bell” as she liked to call it; was a member of the Lipan Eastern Star and the Pioneer Women’s Club as well.

  Survivors include her two children, Vicki and Jack Garvin of Weatherford and Danny and Donna Huffstuttler of Dennis; brother, W.H. Baldree of Lipan; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

  Graveside service will be held for Bernice at Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan on Monday, September 28, at 3:00 p.m., with Minister Robert Gillium officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Scottish Rite Hospital or Susan G. Coleman Breast Cancer Awareness.
