Bettie Holliman

August 21, 1928 — October 17, 2015

Bettie was born in Reynolds, Georgia. She graduated from North Georgia College and worked as a medical technologist her entire career. She took great delight in her work and her laboratory family. Bettie is survived by her beloved daughter Aurelia, Sister Ann Wilson and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by husband Mark Holliman and son Joe.  Mother had the sweetest smile, and biggest heart; a graciously generous spirit, always happy to share. She loved to laugh, dance, travel, cook read and play bridge.  She was very fond of the caregivers and cooks at Autumn Hill Manor.   Throughout various illnesses, mother received extraordinary healthcare from some providers in particular. We give profound thanks to Dr. Dwayne Roberts and Dr. Todd Moore and their staff, Dr. Lance Mandell and all associated angels at the Centers for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Our final thanks to the ER and ICU staff at Texas Health Willow Park and Fort Worth and Integra Care Home Health.  Dance with the angels Mama, and rest in peace. Love you always.

Mama’s life celebration potluck gathering has been postponed due to the inclement weather.
Memorial donations can be made to the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, 800 Magnolia Fort Worth; Careity Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association
