Barbara Faye Nichols

Barbara Nichols, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm St., Weatherford. Entombment: Memory Gardens of the Valley Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Barbara Faye Harris Nichols was born March 16, 1942, in Mineral Wells, the youngest of six children to the late Roy Lee and Carrie Faye Kendrick Harris. Her life was being a Nana and taking care of her grandchildren and baking with them. Barbara was Nana to everybody and she loved it that way.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Nichols; parents; four brothers; one sister; and son-in-law, Jim Marcum.
Survivors: Daughter, Deborah Marcum of Lipan; son, Brad Dixon and wife, Tammy, of Horseshoe Bend; step-sons, Mike Nichols and wife, Shelly, of Brock and Mark Nichols and wife, Tami, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; grandchildren, Tiffany Marcum and husband, Quincy Crawford, Taryn Hard and husband, Chris, Matthew Nichols and wife, Evelyn, Addison Nichols, Caitlyn Nichols, and Bailey Nichols; great-grandchildren, Tryniti Lewis, Alani Crawford, Cooper Hard, Emmelyn Hard, Zoey Nichols, and Vivian Nichols; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
