Bailey Madeline Newton

Bailey Madeline Newton, 92, of Weatherford, passed away on Monday morning, July 13, 2020, at her home. Burial will be private at Cross Cut Cemetery in Cross Cut, Texas.

Madeline was born on June 23, 1928, in Oplin, Texas. She married James W. Newton on June 12, 1948 and together had three children, James, Grady, and Camille. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Weatherford. Madeline will be remembered for her loving devotion toward her family.

Madeline is survived by her sons, James (Barbara) Newton, Grady (Kim) Newton, and Camille (Mark) Glasshof; and by 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Bailey and Modena Johnson, Madeline was preceded in death by her husband James W. Newton and by her grandson, Jeff Newton.
