Avalon Marie "Nig" Anderson

Avalon Marie “Nig” Anderson, 81, of Weatherford died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at her residence. Born September 12, 1926 in Fort Worth, she was a resident of Parker County for many years. Avalon was in property management and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son Randy Anderson, grandson Cory Anderson, husband of 25 years, Bill Davis and her parents. Nig is survived by her sons, Troy “Andy” Anderson and wife Gloria of Weatherford and Greg Anderson and wife Martha of Benbro; daughter in law, Tracie Anderson of Burleson; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 15, 2007 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Bro. Cris Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Rosehill Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
