Arthur Dwaine Oglesby

Arthur Dwaine Oglesby, 64, of Springtown, passed away on Wednesday evening, March 10, 2021 in Weatherford.

Services celebrating his life will be held Sunday morning, at 10 A.M., March 21, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford.

Arthur was born on September 25, 1956, in Texarkana, Arkansas to Joe Edd, Sr. and Lois Marie Oglesby. He married Kimberly Blackburn on August 11, 1981, and together had three children, Chris, Angela and April. Arthur was an HVAC engineer for Transport Refrigeration Services for many years. He enjoyed raising chickens, playing his guitar, and going shooting at the gun range. Arthur enjoyed taking regular family trips to his beloved Galveston, Texas. Most of all, Arthur will be remembered for being a devoted family man who cherished time spent with his family – particularly sharing his spare time with his grandkids.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Kimberly; his children, Chris Oglesby, Angela (Bobby) Cale, and April (Tony) McLin; his grandchildren, David, Avery, Michael, Breanna, and Addison; and by his brother, Joe Edd Ogelsby, Jr.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents.
