Anthony "Tony" Christopher Preston

Anthony “Tony” Christopher Preston, 53, of Weatherford, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at his home.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be will be held at 7 P.M., on Wednesday, January 3, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Visitation will be held from 6 P.M. until the time of the service, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Tony was born on September 1, 1964 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was one of five sons born to James and Jewell Preston. Tony was a long-time veterinary technician in Fort Worth and more recently was a sterile processing technician at Weatherford Regional Medical Center. He enjoyed playing his guitar and his pets. Most of all, Tony cherished time spent with his family.
Tony is survived by his father, James Preston; his brothers, Joe Preston, Mike Preston, Tommy and wife, Ann Preston, and Larry and wife, Lisa Preston; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Jewell Preston.
