Anne "Annie" Billings Crockett

Anne “Annie” Billing Crockett, 69, of Weatherford passed away Monday, August 14, 2017. Memorial service: 4 p.m, Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Annie was born April 5, 1948 in El Paso, TX to Jack and Lucene Lide Billing. She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where she graduated from West High School, attended Phoenix Community College and was a member of RONS Club (Retired Officers of Naval Services Club). Annie was a truck driver, a school bus driver and an avid supporter of her children’s sporting events. She enjoyed horseback riding and was a two time participant in Billy the Kid’s Final Ride, riding horseback 200 miles across New Mexico. Annie is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Sheay Crockett of Weatherford, Zachery Crockett of Lubbock and Karen Meredith Akkerman of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Bandi Conlee of Weatherford and Jarod and Griffen Akkerman of Murfreesboro, TN.
