Angela Maxcine Dragoo

Angela Maxcine Dragoo, 49, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Angela was born April 11, 1973, in Amarillo, Texas, to Jimmy Thompson and Florence (Crutchfield) Thompson. Angela graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work and became a Social Work Supervisor in the healthcare industry. She dedicated her time and talent to community service as a member of the Auxiliary at the Greenwood Rural VFD. During her spare time, Angela enjoyed being creative and could be found crafting. She had an adventurous spirit and loved going on vacations and cruises, making fond memories with her family and friends.

Angela is survived by her husband, Dion Dragoo of Weatherford, Texas; son, Christopher Dragoo of Weatherford, Texas; brother, James Thompson and wife, Jennifer of Boyd, Texas; niece, Julia Miller; nephew, Jagger Thompson; uncle, Daryl Thompson and wife, Betty; uncle, Carol Thompson and wife, D'Lynn; aunt, Donna Maxfield; and lifelong friend, Patty Tucker and husband, Martin.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Memory Gardens Cemetery for a committal service.

The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the funeral chapel.
