Anesha Davis

October 11, 1925 — September 3, 2015

Anesha “Ag” Kolacny Davis, 89, of Gainesville, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015, at her home in Weatherford.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 4:00 today, Sunday, September 6, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, with Pastor Matt Hall officiating.  Visitation with the family will be held from 3:00 until the time of the service at the funeral chapel.  Burial will be held at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 10.
Anesha was born October 11, 1925 in Shiner, Texas to Vaclav & Kristina Kolacny.  On December 28, 1945, Anesha married George Davis, and together had four children.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, antiques, ducks, and baking.  Most of all, Anesha cherished time spent with her family.
Anesha is survived by her husband, of 70 years, George Clifford Davis; her children, Patricia Davis and husband Calvin Davis of Wichita Falls, Russell Davis and wife Cheryl Couch Davis, George “Kip” Davis, Jr., and Cindy Beem and husband Leigh Beem of Park City, UT; four grandchildren, Kristina Halcomb Barnhart; Maria Halcomb Bridges, Keith Davis, Courtney Davis, and Jenny Beem; by four great-grandchildren, James Halcomb, McKenzie Bridges, Nathan Barnhart and Natalie Barnhart; two sisters, Mildred Norris of San Antonio and Annette Blaschke of Shiner; and nieces and nephews, Suzanne Stewart, Dianne Smith, William “Buddy” Norris, Roxanne Parsons, James Blaschke, Davis Blaschke, and Andrew Blaschke.

Funeral services  - 4:00 today, Sunday, September 6, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, with Pastor Matt Hall officiating.

Visitation  - from 3:00 until the time of the service at the funeral chapel. .

Burial - Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 10.
