Alvin Thomas Youngblood

  Alvin Thomas “Tom” Youngblood age 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior the evening of Thursday, January 26, 2017. Tom was born in Brazos, Texas, to L B and Pearl Harris Youngblood. Tom and wife, Velma, raised a loving family and were members of North Side Baptist Church. Tom had a diverse range of interests including playing blue grass music, basketball, football, most water sports, cruising his motorcycles and cars.

  Tom is survived by his daughters, Kathy Youngblood, Julie Youngblood; sons, Mike Lee wife Brenda, Terry Lee wife Debbie, Raymon Huddleston wife Christy; sister, Gayle Hooten husband Mike; nephews, Patrick Adams wife Dawn, Ian Burleson wife Carmen; nineteen grandchildren, April, Clay, Crystal, Cody, Matt, Eliana, Caysa, Kelsey, Summer, Jordan, Jessica, Allison, Melissa, Brandon, Raymie, Sunny, Landy, Daxx, and Braylee; twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

  Tom was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby Lee Youngblood; and sisters, Lucille Youngblood and Elsie Lorene Burleson.

  Funeral service 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2017 at North Side Baptist Church. James Plowman will officiate. Interment Fairview Millsap. Visitation 11:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m., Monday at North Side Baptist Church.
