Alice Lee Chapman

April 7, 1933 — October 24, 2013

Alice Lee Chapman, 80, departed this life early Thursday morning, October 24, 2013 at Cedar Hill Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Chapman was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was an owner of Aledo General Merchandise and CC Flowers for many years.  Alice was active in GA’s, president of PTA and taught Sunday school.  She helped compile history of Parker County leading to the publishing of History of Parker County.
Mrs. Chapman made great sacrifices in tending to the health needs of her youngest daughter who was born with type one diabetes without ever complaining.  She definitely had and kept her priorities in order; first God, second family and third country.  She is now re-joined with her husband, Delma and daughters, Cynthia and Sherrie in their eternal home above.
Survivors include her daughter, Conie L. Petro and husband, Ken; three grandchildren, Viannah Khouri, Hannah Ester and Chandler Easter; two great grandchildren, Sophia Khouri and Alice Easter; four sisters-in-law, Dorothy Short, Francis Short, Carol Short and Vearl Dean Chapman and brother-in-law, Edward Chapman and wife, Delores.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Sunday at First Baptist Church of Aledo.  Visitation is from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Annetta Cemetery.
