Addie Simpson, 94, of Weatherford, died Saturday, December 6, 2014.  Born February 16, 1920, in Jacksboro, Texas, a resident of Weatherford and Parker County for many years.  She was retired from WISD, and a member of the Newberry Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  She loved RV Camping, Sewing, Games and her Family.  Addie was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Hoyte Simpson, parents, Jessie Wyett and Willie Nora Wood, Brothers, George Wood, L. T. Wood, James Condy Wood (killed in World War II), Robert Lee Wood, sisters, Leta Wood Williams, Bertha Wood Stephenson Bionisi and infant sister, Jessie Nora Wood..
Survivors;
Daughter – Carol Curtis and husband Don of Weatherford
Son – Wilford Simpson and wife, Barnita of Millsap
Sister – Shirley Lorene Tiechman of Mineral Wells
Brother – J. W. Wood of Jacksboro

Funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, December 11, 2014 in the Newberry Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in the Newberry Cemetery.  Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangement. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the funeral home.  Memorials may be sent to the Newberry Cemetery Association
