Norma Plowman, a graduate of Weatherford High School and Weatherford College has been a bookkeeper most of her life. Her family moved to the Greenwood Community when she was a child and she has lived in Weatherford most of her life. Norma has been a part of the Galbreaith Pickard family almost from the beginning. She was married to the “Love of Her Life” J.V. Plowman for over 50 years, with whom she co owned the funeral home with until his passing in 2007. She has two sons, James and Bill, one daughter, Grace, who passed away in 2015, seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She is a member of South Main Church of Christ and she loves spending time with all of her grandchildren, especially doing puzzles in her living room.

James R. Plowman has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for over 30 years. James is a native of Weatherford and has been active in the community all of his life. He is dedicated to the needs of bereaved families and specializes in personalization of funeral services to meet the needs of each individual family. A member of the Oak Ridge Church of Christ. He has two daughters and four grandchildren. He has numerous hobbies including woodworking, cyling, amateur photography, and computers. A favorite quote would be, if asked to facilitate a task not already scheduled, “I’ll get to it in my spare time between midnight and 2:00 am.”

Misty was born in Weatherford and grew up in the funeral business. She owned and operated “Memories in Bloom Florist” for 10 years before selling her business and joining our staff. She is married to Travis Engel and has two children Madison and Caden. She is a member of Milestone Church in Keller and sings on the worship team. Misty is actively involved in the community and currently serves on the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the CASA Hope for Children Board of Directors.

Angie was born and raised in Weatherford and grew up as part of Galbreaith Pickard. She married Jose Hernandez in 2007 and they now have 2 boys. She attends Northside Baptist Church and spends her extra time watching her boys play sports and doing family activities.

Melody Turner, born and raised in Weatherford, Texas and currently lives in the Brock Community. She is married to Roudy Turner and has three children. Melody graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Services in 2002 and has served many families at Galbreaith Pickard ever since.


Debby Steensma, was born and raised in Parker County and married Jim Steensma in 1982. They raised 3 children and she is now the proud "Grandma" to 2 beautiful grandchildren. She graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 1986 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is a lifetime member of South Main Church of Christ. Upon her retirement from teaching, Debby joined Galbreaith Pickard in 2014.

Lauren was born and raised here in Weatherford. She graduated from Weatherford High School while also obtaining her Cosmetology license in 2007. She is married to Rodney Crawford and has two children, London and Major. She attends Northside Baptist Church and is actively involved in her children's extra curricular activities.

Becky Reed is married to Jack Reed and has one daughter, one son, and four grandchildren. She moved to Willow Park in 2006 and joined our firm in 2016 after retiring as a Nurse Practionier. She loves spending time with her family and shooting photography. Becky is a member of the Klassy Kloggers and attends South Main Church of Christ.

Carla McCain, was born and raised in Wheeler, Texas. She married her husband, Don, in 1977 and raised one daughter and one son. Carla has six grandchildren and loves spending time with them. She is a member of South Main Church of Christ and is very active in the Weatherford Community. Carla joined our firm in 2017 after retiring as a school counselor for 28 years.

Tim Fisher was born and raised in Weatherford, Texas. He has two daughters, four grandchildren, and 3 dogs. He is a member of North Main Church of God. Tim is a board member of the Texas Southern Gospel School of Music as well as the Texas State Singing Convention and spends most of his free time traveling the southern states of the US attending the singings. Tim joined our team in 2018 and enjoys assisting families following their services as well as pre need arrangements.

Donna Hudson, has lived in Weatherford most of her life and is a memeber of Baker Baptist Church. She married her husband, Clay, in 1974 and has two children and three granddaughters. Donna and her husband owned and operated Bowman Electronics for 30 years before she joined our firm in 2018.

Donald Jones, born in Snyder, Texas and moved to Weatherford in 1962. Don has nine children, seven boys and two girls. He joined Galbreaith Pickard in 2009 assisting on funerals and currently handles the maintenance and cleaning at the offices. He attends New Hope Baptist Church and enjoys spending time with his family and friends as often as he can.
