Carolyn Heun, 56, lost her battle with ALS on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010. Carolyn was born February 9, 1954 in West Point, NE to Earl and Anna Louise Flores. She graduated from West Point High School. On September 3, 1972 she married Marlin Heun. They moved to Weatherford, Texas in 1982 with their three daughters. Carolyn loved spending time with her grandchildren every chance she got. She also had a love for horses. She enjoyed grooming and riding them whenever she was able. Mrs. Heun is preceded in death by her father Earl Flores. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Marlin Heun of Weatherford; daughters, Michelle Aggas of Saginaw, Jamie Bradford of Weatherford and Twila Roundy of Benbrook; mother, Anna Louise Flores of West Point, NE; sisters, Kathy Schulzkump of West Point, NE, Marilyn Robison of Springtown, Linda Lofgren of West Point, NE and LuAnn Dinslage of Clarkson, NE; brother, Melvin Flores of Gretna, NE; eight grandchildren, Hope, Selina, Tayler, Makayah, Emma, Carolyn, Wyatt and Skyla and one great grandchild Christian..




Graveside Service: 1:00 PM, Friday, February 19, 2010 in Annetta Cemetery with Pastor Chad Forrester officiating. Visitation: 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. To all of Carolyn's family and friends, We were saddened to hear of Carolyn's illness and her passing. Just know that her suffering is over and she is in a better place now.
