In Loving Memory Jerry Wayne Young 5/21/1950 - 2/4/2010

Jerry Wayne Young, 59, of Weatherford, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010, in a local hospital. Jerry was born May 21, 1950 to James and Maurine Young. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. Jerry was active in the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as a past Chief. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Florence “Charlie”, daughter, Robin Beets and, husband, Jon of San Antonio, sons, Joe Young, and John Young and wife, Angie all of Weatherford, mother, Maurine Jackson, of Weatherford, brothers, Terry Young of Bridgeport, James K. Young Jr. of Fort Worth, Bill Young, of Summerfield, OK, grandchildren, Ashley, Reneé, Lauren, Ariana, and Callie, and great grandchildren, Alyzea, and Tyler. Funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, February 8, 2010 at Greenwood Baptist Church, interment will follow in Greenwood Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 4 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
