Wilford "Sonny" Stokes

Wilford “Sonny” Stokes, 76, of Weatherford passed away February 3, 2017. He was born to I.E. and Mary Booth Stokes on December 4, 1940, in Terry County, Texas. Sonny served in the United States Air Force. Sonny retired from General Telephone and Weatherford Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Connie Renae in 1972.
Sonny is survived by his wife, Janice Stokes; daughter, Rayanne Hukill and husband Mickey; grandchildren, Nisha Gilbert and husband Stephen, Mika Foreman and husband John; great-grandchildren, Myranda, Josh, and Sam; sister, Gail Lindsey; brothers, Burtis, Dale and Tommy Stokes.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7 at Terry County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
