Wanda Jo Davis

Wanda Jo Tomerlin Davis passed away peacefully in Valley Mills, Texas, on January 26, 2018, after a brief illness.
She was born October 26, 1937, to T. B. and Christine Tomerlin, in Whitt, Texas.
Wanda graduated from Millsap High School and retired from Helzberg Diamonds. Wanda’s favorite past time was antiques.
She was a member of Holders Chapel United Methodist Church in Cool, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sammie R. Davis; and brother, Otis Wayne Tomerlin.
She is survived by her children, Sherri Huddleston of Cool, Sammie Davis, Jr. (Tanya) of Weatherford, and Shane Davis of Corpus Christi; her brothers, John Earl Tomerlin (Carolyn) of Garner and Tommy Tomerlin (Glenda) of Midland; eight grandchildren, Jodi Bolton (Chad), Lacey Swearingin (Chris), Candee Petrie-Sparks (Clay), Paige Absher (Sam), Megan Davis, Tyler Davis, Alyssa Davis and Ethan Davis; and by nine great-grandchildren, Reece Bolton, Mackenzee Burton, Mallory Burton, Sydney Swearingin, Cash Swearingin, Halee Petrie, Samee Petrie, Josh Petrie, and Allie Absher.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 1st, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2018 in the Holders Chapel United Methodist Church in Cool, Texas with graveside services immediately following.
