Virginia Ann Holbrook Brewer

Virginia Ann Holbrook Brewer age 81 passed away Monday, March 19, 2018. Virginia was born March 17, 1937 in Maypearl, TX to Gordon Holbrook and Estle Wood Holbrook. She graduated in 1955 from Brewer High School in White Settlement. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Weatherford. Virginia loved children, she retired as a day care director. She was amazing with crafts, including sewing. Virginia made many clothes for those she cared for. She found great joy spending time outdoors including traveling, camping and gardening.

Virginia is survived by her daughters Paula Ann Threatt and her husband Eugene, Edith LeEllen Dillard and her husband Tommy; sisters Wanda Lou Bradfield, Dorothy Jean Wise, Peggy Wachtel and Katherine Marlow; brothers Jimmy Charles Holbrook, Michael "Mickey" Holbrook and Sammy Lee Holbrook; Grandchildren Lance Henderson, Kolby Henderson, Cassie Threatt, Dustin Brewer, Tyler Brewer, Audrey Dillard, Hayden Dillard and his wife Lauren; great-grandson Waylan Dillard.

Virginia is preceded in death by her father GHL Holbrook; mother Estle Lee Wood Holbrook; husband Howard Brewer; son James Leo Brewer.

Memorial Service 10:00 am. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. James Plowman and Tommy Galik will officiate. The family would like to thank the staff at Keeneland Nursing and Rehabilitation for the wonderful care they gave to Miss Virginia.
