Thomas Dudley Poynor

Tom Poynor, 57, loving brother and uncle, passed away on January 3, 2018. Tom was born June 19, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas and was a graduate of Castleberry High School. He worked at IPS Custom Automation as a technician. Tom was an avid bike rider, often riding miles daily along the Trinity Trails. He enjoyed movies and playing video games with friends and family.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, John Winfred and Marietta Poynor, and nephew Glen Witt of Fort Worth. He is survived by siblings B.D. Poynor and wife Nancy of Colorado Springs, Gene Poynor of Fort Worth, Marvin Poynor and wife Elizabeth of Richland Hills, Patricia Witt of Fort Worth, and Mary Tatum and husband Barry of Willow Park. Tom is also survived by nieces Jennifer Poynor and Elissa Tatum, along with nephew Blaine Tatum. He is survived by numerous other family members and friends which we will not list here because there are too many and you would stop reading.

Services were held Monday, January 8, 2018, at Galbreaith-Pickard Hilltop Chapel followed by interment at Poe Prairie Cemetery in Millsap, Texas.
