Ronnie Lynn Clark

Ronnie Lynn Clark went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 30, 2017. He was born May 7, 1953 in Seminole, Texas. Ronnie was raised in Andrews Texas by his parents L.H. and Ruby Sue Clark. He graduated from Andrews High School in 1971 and attended Sul Ross State University in Alpine. Ronnie met the love of his life Donna Elizabeth Whitmire in January of 1972 and they married April 20, 1973. God blessed them with three awesome sons, Jody Lynn, Kelly Don and Monty Allen.
Ronnie grew up in the oilfields of West Texas. He always had dreams of being a working cowboy on a ranch some day. In August of 1976 Ronnie hired on to work for The Renderbrook Spade Ranch. His life-long dream fulfilled. Ronnie was proud to ride for the brand. He loved the ranch life and it was the best place to raise his boys.
In 1998, Ronnie left the ranch and went to work for Lone Wolf Resources, an environmental company. He traveled to Panama, Canada and Oklahoma in his work. In 2013, Ronnie was forced to retire due to his health. In February of 2014 Ronnie and Donna moved to Weatherford to be closer to their boys. In September of 2015 Ronnie started doing leather work for family and friends. He continued this labor of love until his death.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, L.H. Clark. Survivors include his wife Donna Clark; sons Jody Clark and wife Krista, Kelly Clark and wife Justa, Monty Clark and wife Amanda; 12 grandchildren, Tryston, Codi, Levi, Mikey, Kelly Neal, Kassie, Lane, Kai, Riley, Bryson, Braxton and Brooklyn; mother, Ruby Sue Clark; sister, Roxana Harper and husband Wayne; brother Casey Clark and wife Diane; 4 sister-in-laws; 3 brother-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1025 15th St, Colorado City, Tx 79512. Burial will follow at Spade Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ronnie's name to Calvary Baptist Church in Colorado City or to Encompass Hospice, 1320 South University Blvd Fort Worth TX 76107 817-263-8808.
