Mary Frances Atchison

Mary Frances Atchison, 96, of Weatherford, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017, peacefully at her home. A graveside committal service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday December 2, 2017 at East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford.

Mary was born November 24, 1921 in Weatherford. She was one of two daughters born to William and Goldie Vaughan. Mary is survived by her children Roy (Denise) Stevens and Ouida (Walt) Barker, along with 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sons, Charles (CA) and William (Dan) Atchison and by her sister, Marjorie Baldwin.

She was a long-time member of Bankhead Church of Christ. Mary enjoyed staying busy and spent many hours crocheting blankets, hats and booties for the infants at the JPS neo-natal unit.
She loved her family and cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.
