Marvin Franklin Bethea

Marvin Franklin Bethea, age 69 of Weatherford went to be with the Lord Friday, February 23, 2018. Marvin was born May 22, 1948 in Canoe, AL to Melton Floyd Bethea and Leomie Louise Jacobs Bethea. Marvin was a devoted member of Granbury Church of God. He was a long-haul truck driver and enjoyed every minute of it. When not on the road you could catch Marvin singing or playing his guitar.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Linda Carole Bethea; TX, stepdaughter Lana Smith; stepsons Terry Smith and wife Andrea, Chris Smith and wife Kerry, James Jones and wife Scherry; sisters Lila Nell Bethea Harper and Betty Ann Bethea Henderson; brother David Bethea; grandchildren Samantha Renee Washburn, Ethan Payne Jones, Sara Elaine Willard, James Willard; great-grandchildren Jocelyn Grace and Karson Lee Morgan.

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents Melton Floyd Bethea and Leomie Louise Jacobs Bethea; sister Patricia Bethea Neal; brother Melton Lee Bethea; grandson Ernest Thomas Jones.
