Jerry Dale “Stonewall” Jackson age 79, of Lubbock and Weatherford passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at a Fort Worth hospital. Jerry was born February 1, 1938 in Lubbock to Earnest and Lavada Jackson. Jerry was a member of North Side Baptist Church. He was a retired truck driver from Frito Lay and regularly drank coffee with his buddies. Jerry enjoyed tinkering with projects, gardening, enjoying animals or anything tractor related.

Jerry is survived by his daughters Brenda Anderson and husband Cary of Weatherford, Cindy Black and partner Darin Routier of Lubbock; grandchildren Evan Whitaker, Rebekah Whitaker, Eric Whitaker, Drake Routier and Clayton Anderson; several nieces and nephews; his Frito Lay buddies that he worked with over 30 years and his beloved dog Tootsie.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Earnest and Lavada Jackson; sisters Wilma Jackson Pulliam, Betty Jewel Jackson and Margie Jackson Burnett; brothers James Edward Jackson and Sherman “Jack” Jackson; grandson Clayton Anderson.

Funeral Service 2:00pm Monday, August 21, 2017 at North Side Baptist Church. Donnie O’Fallon will officiate. Visitation 1-2pm Monday. Interment Buckner Cemetery.
