Jean Duncan

Jean Duncan, 83, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017, in Weatherford. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2 P.M., on Saturday, September 9, at the North Main Church of Christ, 1302 N. Main Street, in Weatherford. Burial will be private.
Jean was born on July 2, 1934 to Aaron and Nonnie Hodges. She married Billy Duncan and had two children, Carl and Patti. Jean was a dutiful military wife for many years. Jean was a long-time member of the Weatherford North Main Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling the country with her husband on their motorcycle, camping in their RV, and doing her needle work. Jean was a member of the 42 Dominos Club as well at the North Main Church of Christ Sewing Club. Most of all, Jean cherished time spent with her family – particularly her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Jean is survived by her children, Patti Waggoner and Carl (Brandi) Duncan; her grandchildren, Cody (Lindsey) Duncan, Tyler Duncan, Trace (Emily) Duncan, Mandi (Luke) Gage and Matt Mahoney; several great-grandchildren; and by her beloved dog, Chloe.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Billy Duncan.
