James Robert May

James “Jim” Robert May, 58, of Hudson Oaks, passed away Friday morning, December 30, 2016, at his home following an extended illness.
A memorial service celebrating Jim’s life will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Doss Heritage and Cultural Center, 1400 Texas Ave., in Weatherford. Burial will be private.
Jim was born July 10, 1958 in Los Angeles, CA to Bob and Pat May. He married his best friend, Lisa George on February 18, 1983 and together had two sons. Jim will be remembered for his sincere and soft-spoken manner and for his sarcastic sense of humor. He enjoyed motorcycles. Jim loved to travel the country with friends on his bike and with his wife by car. He was a hard worker and was an HVAC technician by trade and work for ACIS who treated his like family. Jim was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served his mission in the Detroit area. He enjoyed Westerns, Texas Rangers baseball, and ‘hunting down’ good Texas BBQ. Most of all, Jim cherished and loved his wife and family.
Jim is survived by his wife, Lisa; son Cody (Kelli) May and Colton May; and by his siblings, Steve May, Susanne Kelley, Chris Marriott, and Deanne Knuckles.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
