Fredrick E. Barfield

Fredrick “Fred” E. Barfield, 72, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully, at his home, on Friday evening, April 7, 2017. Services will be private in Oklahoma.
Fred was born on January 21, 1945 in Cache, Oklahoma. He was one of 10 children born to Harmon H. and Louise E. Barfield. Fred proudly served his county in the U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1966 serving in the Bay of Pigs Invasion of Cuba. He was a welder by trade and enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting and fishing. Most of all, Fred loved and cherished time spent with his family.
Fred is survived by his daughters, Jamie Barfield and Denise (Carmen) Martinez both of Weatherford; grandson, Justen Caraway; and by his two great-grandchildren, MaKayla and Asher Caraway; by two sisters and brother, Anna Sundown, Patricia Barfield, and Leslie Barfield; and by several nieces and nephews .
In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by several of his siblings.
