Obituary for Edith Marie Walts

Edith Marie Walts, 76, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, at her home in Weatherford.
Funeral service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Community Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Edith Marie Young Walts was born Jan. 9, 1942, in San Antonio, daughter of the late Joe and Alice Marie Noah Young. She made her career as a supervisor for American Airlines and retired after many dedicated years of service. In her free time, she loved to play bingo, gamble, and travel the world on cruises.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Patrick Gary Walts; and her parents as well as her half-brother, Edward Brain.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Young and husband, James, of Weatherford, and Sherry Williams and husband, Mike, of Royse City; grandchildren, , Ken Young, Richard Young, Chris Young, Shawn Williams and wife, Jonna, Rhonda Walts, Alice Young, Kevin Williams, Angie Young, John Young, and Lynn Young; great-granddaughters, Kylie Young, Arianna Young, and Callie Young, Lauren Ince, and Adalynn Young; great-grandsons, Levi and Lucas Maitland; brother, Joe Young and wife, Keiko, of San Diego, Calif.; and a host of loving family and friends.
