Dennis Francis Goke

Dennis Francis Goke, 67, of Aledo passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at his home. He was born to John and Meladay Champion Rowe on December 14, 1949 in Hazel Green, WI. Dennis proudly served in the US Navy earning the National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Star, and a Combat Action Ribbon. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Loved his dogs and spoiling his grandkids. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and son, Tim Roden.
Survivors include his wife of 24 ½ years, Brenda Tillinghast Goke; daughter, Jennifer Walter and husband Josh; sons, Brian Goke and wife Allison, Thomas Roden and wife Erica, Tony Roden and wife Jovelyn; daughter-in-law, Wendy Roden; grandchildren, Nicole, Aspen, Avery, Tyler, Sydney, Thomas, Treagan, Amelia, Taryn, Garreth, Analise, Tremion, Elena, and Lily; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held 10 am, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Horseshoe Bend Baptist Church in Weatherford. Burial will be 2 pm at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 pm Monday evening at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel.
