Chloe M. Glenn

Chloe Glenn passed away at home, Saturday, March 17, 2018 surrounded by family.
She was born November 20, 1921, in the Fox Community, west of Weatherford, Tx.
She married L.E. “Shorty” Glenn in June of 1939, shortly after graduating from Weatherford High School.
Chloe and Shorty lived in Farmington, NM before returning to the Fox Community. She was a devoted and caring wife and mother to their children, Mary, Dale, Shirley and Coy.
Chloe was instrumental in developing Nursery Departments in both Beulah and Brock Baptist Church. She felt it was important to offer parents a chance to worship God without distraction.
She spent many hours at her sewing machine, making Dale’s first suit, many school clothes, formals and wedding dresses. Chloe made beautiful and tasty Candy Gift Packages that many looked forward to receiving at Christmas.
Survivors include her children, Mary Beauchamp, Dale (JoAnn) Glenn, Shirley Maddux and Coy Glenn; grandchildren Bobby and Vicki Glenn, Scott and Angie Maddux; great grandson, James R. Maddux and sister-in-law Dorothy Williams.
Chloe was preceded in death by her husband, Shorty Glenn and her parents Fred and Maggie Williams; grandson, John Beauchamp; son-in-law Sam Maddux and Wesley Beauchamp; one brother, Claude L. Williams; sisters, Verda Williams, Charlene (Homer)Kidwell, and LaFrieda(Rudolph) Mock.
Funeral Service 10:30am Wednesday at Beulah Baptist Church, 350 Beulah Rd, Millsap. Burial at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy, Weatherford.
Visitation 5 to 7 pm Tuesday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Beulah Baptist Church or Cook Children’s Hospital.
