Obituary for Charlie "Chuck" Allan Driver

Charlie “Chuck” Driver, 57, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm St., Weatherford. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the Driver family suggests contributions in Chuck’s memory be made to LifeGift – North Region, 1701 River Run, Suite 300, Fort Worth, Texas 76107.

Charles Allan Driver was born Dec. 21, 1960, in Weatherford, son of the late Jim Charles and Nancy Ann Richards Driver. He made his career as an electrical engineer for Lockheed Martin for over 30 dedicated years and was a Master Mason in the Phoenix Lodge. Chuck supported and loved his family and was a doting Poppa. In his free time, Chuck rode motorcycles, loved his dogs, and loved the Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. He also loved his Shiner Bock beer.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Jim Driver; mother, Nancy Anne Gandee; step-father, Bobby Gandee; and brother, James Driver.

Survivors: Wife, Debbie Driver of Benbrook; children, Kendall Driver-Perez and wife, Angela, of Round Rock, Daniel Driver and wife, Shonnah, of Weatherford, and Micah Driver of Dallas; step-children, Casey Herrington and Caitlin Duncan both of Benbrook; grandchildren, Jack Herrington, Kenleigh Driver, and Hollis Driver; sister, Cindy Olson and husband, Rick, of Granbury; sister-in-law, Christie Driver of Weatherford; step-sister, Ida Gandee of Arlington; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
