Carmen Florence Kennemur

Carmen Florence Kennemur, 88, of Aledo passed away May 28, 2017 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born July 30, 1928 to Benjamin and Mattie (Schafer) Watson in Seminole, Ok. Carmen attended school in Westbrook. She was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church in Colorado City, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband David Wesley Kennemur.
Survivors include her son, Danney Wayne Kennemur of Aledo; grandchildren, Debra Kay Kennemur of Aledo and Stacy Wayne Kennemur of Springtown; sisters, Betty Lou Watson and Susie Marie Bartel of Wichita, KS; brother, Fred Lee Watson of Tucson, AZ; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday evening at Galbreaith-Pickard Hilltop Chapel. Funeral services are 2 pm, Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Galbreaith-Pickard Hilltop Chapel. Burial will be 2 pm Friday at Sardis Cemetery in Comanche County.
