Allen Glenn Greene

Allen Glenn Greene, 77, of Weatherford passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Funeral: 10a.m, Friday, March 3, 2017 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Johnson Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8p.m, Thursday, at the funeral home. Allen was born July 25, 1939 in Weatherford to Joseph and Wilma Hart Greene. He retired from Lockheed Martin and was a member of North Side Baptist Church. Allen Greene married Jane Dodd on March 21, 1959. They spent their honeymoon under the Old Dennis River Bridge. This month they would have celebrated 58 years of marriage. Allen enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was involved in local youth sports for many years.
Survivors: wife, Jane Greene; sons, Joe Greene and wife Vickie, Jamie Greene and wife Juli all of Weatherford; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
