Agnes Lorraine Brolsma

Agnes Lorraine Dobbs was born December 29, 1933 and passed away on April 24, 2018. She spent her 84 years serving her Heavenly Father and showing His love to all around her.
Funeral Service: 2 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. An interment will take place at a later date at Indus Cemetery, Indus, MN.

Lorraine was born to Albert and Agnes Dobbs at home in Indus, Minnesota. She graduated from Indus High School in 1951 and attended Lab and x-ray training in Minneapolis, Minnesota at Northwest Institute of Lab and X-ray. Her first job was at Bemidji Hospital as a lab and x-ray tech. She married John Frank Brolsma June 18, 1955 and they were married over 62 years. Their first move was to Chicago, Illinois. John worked for IBM and Lorraine at Ravenswood Hospital Blood Bank. This move was the first of many moves through multiple states. John and Lorraine were blessed with 3 wonderful daughters, and their families, Carol and Mark Etlicher, Karen and Tom Takes, and Sandra and Jeff Mauldin. Grandsons were an additional blessing, John, Jeremy, David, Peter, and Chris Takes and great-grandchildren Scarlett, Alyssa, and Jackson. She spent her life ministering to others through cooking and baking, sewing, needle work, gardening and china painting, and volunteering among other things.
